| 6.1 |
The Police Code and Judicial
Code |
|
| |
The Police Code of the Oceanic Union shall be responsible for administering the code of conduct, functions and operations of law enforcement officials, whereas the Judicial Code shall be responsible for the conditions, procedures and rules of judicial procedure in relation to all Criminal and Civil law matters. |
|
| |
The Judicial Code depends in part upon the Police Code in the fair operation of law enforcement officials in the investigation of alleged criminal acts, the arrest of persons and the preparation of evidence/testimony for the hearing of charges and cases of accused persons. |
|
| |
Similarly, the Police Code in part depends upon the just operation of the Judicial Code in establishing the procedure for cases of criminal law brought before the Courts. |
