Failing to report a serious offence |
|
| |
Failing to report a serious offence to authorities when a person deliberately and knowingly withholds information and/or evidence from law enforcement officers regarding one or more serious offences. |

Primary Fact(s) |
| 1. That a serious offence occurred at a particular time and place; |
| 2. That some time after the date of the offence, law enforcement officials became aware of the alleged offence; |
| 3. Because of the intervening period from the time of the offence and the time that law enforcement officials first became aware of the alleged serious offence important evidence was either lost, removed and/or deliberately changed. |
| 4. That the actions of the accused contributed to the non-reporting of the alleged offence to law enforcement officials; |
| 5. That the actions of the accused were done with the knowledge and intent of witholding information concerning the alleged offence; |
