| All military law rests upon the finding, analysis, transmission, classification and storage of information. Poorly defined and recorded information along with poorly managed storage and retrieval systems in themselves may contribute to avoidable delays and inefficiencies in the operation of the courts. | ||
| Furthermore, while the use of paper is a necessary medium for many court procedures, it should always be a key focus of a modern legal system to ensure that digital information management is the first priority with paper being a by-product of properly stored and processed electronic information. | ||
