4. Police power and rights

22.1 Rights of court official  
  Police Officers by their position are given special rights in relation to being a temporary appointed official of the court in executing the orders and work of the court both in terms of the delivery of documents, in the arrest and detainment of people to be brought before the court and the execution of other warrants of search and/or seizure.  
  When a police officer executes a court document, they do so under the protection and lawful authority of the court and they are protected from any obstruction by the offence Obstruction of Justice in being an official of the courts.
