| 29.1 | Rapid ParaMilitary Force Deployment | |
| Police are responsible for maintaining an elite unit within their ranks capable of providing such force and power that any major social disorder, terrorist,hostage or violent confrontation can be quickly and effectively resolved. | ||
| While the military are responsible for any large scale conventional threat including heavily armed guerilla incursion threats, the special rapid paramilitary force of the police must be capable of handling all smaller scale events including up to an armed confrontation with several dozen or more violent militants in one encounter. | ||
