| The uniform and appearance of a police force should recognize military standards of an elite unit, in that the modern police force of integrity shares much with an elite military unit. | ||
| In daily patrols, the uniform of police officers should be comfortable and flexible, to allow any requirement for rapid movement, especially the need to give chase, or climb. | ||
| In formal events, the uniform should be crisp and formal, with cap and dress befitting a honrouable corps. | ||
