  Article 40-Uniform and appearance
40.1 Uniform and appearance
The uniform and appearance of a police force should recognize military standards of an elite unit, in that the modern police force of integrity shares much with an elite military unit.
In daily patrols, the uniform of police officers should be comfortable and flexible, to allow any requirement for rapid movement, especially the need to give chase, or climb.
In formal events, the uniform should be crisp and formal, with cap and dress befitting a honrouable corps.
