	10. Correctional system facility objects
	Article 55-Executive Officer-Operations
55.1	Executive Officer-Operations
	The Executive Officer- Operations shall be vested with the sole authority of the good management of Correctional staff, visitors and consultants as well as the duty of care and service to prisoners.
	The Executive Officer- Operations shall be a direct appointment by employment contract of the Commander of the Correctional Facility upon approval of the Board of the correctional facility for for a period corresponding to and not longer than the term of the Commander.
	As Executive Officer- Operations, it is tasked to this person the burden of ensuring the most professional staff are appointed, properly managed with respect and best practice for the Correctional Facility as defined by this Code and the classification of the facility.
