By this code, all objects initially in the possession of a prisoner, or subsequently in the direct or indirect possession of any prisoner and having a total value greater than $40 by generally accepted market value standards shall be required to be registered in the Master Facility Asset Register. |

Confiscation of assets not listed |

An asset valued greater than $40 and not firstly declared by a prisoner within 24 hours of receiving it into their possession, shall be liable to be confiscated, whether or not by other by-laws and/or articles they are entitled to such object. |

Notification of disposal of asset valued at greater than |

A prisoner is required by this Code to notify Facility management within 24 hours of the disposal of any asset valued at greater $40, whether it has been sold, partly or wholly damaged. |

By this code, prisoners are not permitted to give assets valued at $40 or more as gifts to one or more prisoners. Where such an act takes place and no record of such a transaction is recorded, the prisoner in receipt of the asset shall have it seized and shall be further liable for a penalty deduction equivelent to 50% of the value of the asset "gifted". |

Where a prisoner fails to notify Facility management of the disposal of such an asset, the prisoner shall be deemed liable to a penalty deduction from their person account and future earnings whilst in prison equivelent to the value of the disposed asset. |
